Good girls don't wear jeggings

For some reason this year, during the time in-between Thanksgiving and New Years the thought, 

"I wouldn't be caught dead in that!" 

has passed through my mind more often than I can count...

So as to help you save face this year [take them or leave them]

I am going to give you a couple handfuls of wardrobe advice:

Granted these are all simply my personal wardrobe choices and they are not
set in stone or anything

so if you do not agree simply don't follow them.

1. Now personally, I find it easier to wear boots with skinny jeans anyway. 

But if the desire ever came over me to wear regular jeans. My mind would quickly change once I stepped in front of the mirror looking like I'm about to go 

Fly-Fishing ...

2. Earrings are the best way to compliment any updo hairstyle

3. Matching is always important. 
If you're unsure what two colors go together, just know: 

opposing colors on the color wheel match, 
such as red & green, orange & blue or violet & yellow. 
And remember just because two items are the same color
 it does not make them the same shade.

4.  If it is at all possible avoid wearing leggings/jeggings* 

as substitute skinny jeans. 

Instead set them aside for when you're wearing 

a dress and just wear jeans.

5. A plain top can be enhanced with the addition of a pretty necklace or scarf.

________________________________________________________

6. Try to avoid only using one purse or bag. 

Have a few, in different styles and colors to best compliment your look.

7. Before throwing out that shirt that is a little too big or that isn't quite as flattering as you thought it would be. Test it out

by adding a belt to the waist and see if it brings out the curves you were going for.

8. Please do not wear socks with your flats or canvas slippers.
If it's a must because your feet are cold
wear those half socks/ ballet socks which are made for those kinds of shoes.
And for the love of all that is fashionable, do not wear crocs!
There are SO many other alternatives.

9.  Unbutton the top of your pea-coat and add a warm scarf underneath
for a cuter look that will still keep you warm.

10. If you have stubborn nipples a petite scarf can easily cover them, without cramping your entire style...

11. If your shirt is revealing a little too much you can keep the sexiness while still being conservative by layering it with a lace undershirt.

12. Less is More, when it comes to your everyday make-up
you don't have to go all out with the eyes, lips, and face.
Sometimes a bit of mascara and blush is all you really need to make heads turn.

*pssst when I say jeggings, I am not referring to the lovely ones that you find at say, Forever 21 that simply feel like really comfy jeans
I am speaking of the poorly made ones that are simply leggings
with the print of a jean -ike image on them.
